I'm a Photographer by passion. I realized in 1964 while traveling to "see the world" courtesy of Uncle Sam I decided I needed a camera to document my life as i knew there weren't going to be many chances or do-overs. My decision was based on aperture priority because no other camera brands on the market at the time were using AP except Topcon (used by the Navy aerial reconnaissance) but at the time Nikon was a more popular brand and all Nikkor lenses used 52mm filters and were compatible with all model Nikon cameras.
My how things have changed although the choice of many hundreds of Nikkor lenses is not disappointing.
After years of shutter releases I still love the sport. It gets me into another world away from the stress and strain of real life and into a world of serenity and concentration. I cannot explain that aspect of photography. It's not work, it's love, also challenge. Every outing offers another choice to improve my skills. It is a never-ending process.
My wife and I will be moving to my retirement property soon and there will be many more opportunities to explore more (and different) aspects of this hobby.
So that being said I hope you enjoy browsing my photos and I hope something here will inspire you, move you or at least find solace or meaningful enjoyment.
